Natalia Guedes is a Brazilian actress who is known for her work in television and film. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Natalia grew up passionate about acting, dancing, and singing, while performing in school and local theaters. Natalia began her career with commercial work and feature film as Tamara in E Ai, Comeu? by Bruno Mazzeo.

Natalia has been in the soap opera Malhação: Casa Cheia, as the character Tita and in the TV show Gaby Estrella as Amanda Solange. Natalia is also Julia in O Rastro (The Trace We Leave Behind), a Brazilian thriller by Lupa Filmes and Orion Pictures.

When sixteen years old, Natalia studied abroad, going from Our Lady of Mercy School in Rio de Janeiro to Riviera Preparatory School in Miami, Florida to complete her eleventh and twelfth grades.

Today, Natalia is studying Theatre with a concentration in Performance at Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City, where she learns Acting, Movement, and Voice from professionals in the industry such as Matthew Maguire, Dawn Akemi Saito, Tina Benko, George Drance, Andrea Haring, Teva Bjerken, Brett Radke, and Michael Ryan. Natalia has the pleasure of working as an assistant for May Adrales, the Head of Fordham’s Theatre Program, and for the Associate Director, Ariel Estrada, whom she works with to create marketing content for Fordham Theatre’s social media accounts (Instagram & TikTok) to promote Studio and Mainstage shows.

In Brazil, Natalia has been involved in theatrical productions like “Audição” in Teatro Vanucci. In New York City, Natalia played the character Sara in Saguaros at Jack Theatre and Mariane in Fordham Theatre’s Production of Tartuffe by Molier (Adapted by Ranjit Bolt). She was part of the stage reading of the play Self-Portrait Of A Modest Woman by Cathleen Freedman and a stage reading held in Central Park of the Greek play Klytaimestra based on Anne Carson’s adaptation, An Oresteia.

While in New York City, Natalia has taken the opportunity to continue pursuing her passion for film, and has been in the short film “The Sirens Keep Calling” by Tommy Espinal, “Crazy In Love” by Jasiel Louison, and an upcoming short film “Healing Plan” a Bluestone Production film directed by Samantha Joia.

Natalia has also interned for Conspiração Filmes, one of the biggest independent production companies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The company has received 10 International Emmys nominations, and Natalia had the first hand opportunity to deeply learn about the process of production and post-production of TV shows and movies. It was an incredible experience that led her, especially as an Actress, to admire even more the meticulous and hard work of those who are behind the cameras of beautiful works we see on screen.

Additionally, Natalia shares a passion for contemporary and classical ballet. She has trained at Ballet Dalal Achcar. Natalia recently interned for the non-profit IPTI US, Research Organization for Technology and Innovation, at Roc Nation as a Digital Media and Marketing intern, and serves as a freelance social media photographer for Very Breezy.
